Hello, Ozona Elementary School Families.

This is Principal Freeman reminding you that the first day of school is tomorrow, Wednesday Aug. 14th. We will welcome children and parents on campus starting at 8:15 AM. You may to go breakfast or wait in the grade level area until 8:30.  You will be able to enter classrooms at 8:30 and learning starts promptly at 8:45.  At 8:45 you will be directed to leave so that we can secure the campus. This way of work will continue until Friday, Aug. 16th. After Friday parents will not be permitted to walk children in.

As a reminder, it is of utmost importance that your child know how he or she is getting home.  We strongly encourage you begin this day 1.

Back to school information is on our school webpage. The site does look different on your phone. Please scroll down to “News” and click. Then you will see icons for Fast Facts, Supply List and other documents. Click on the icons to read the documents.

A message for safety patrols. Safety patrols will need to report to their duty stations with their belts by 8:15 AM on Wednesday morning. Patrols, if you do not remember where your post is, check one of the posted schedules by the office, the music room or the PE office. Thank you!

Parents—please be courteous of our neighbors and local businesses. Be aware so that you do not block drive ways, park on lawns or impede incoming/outgoing business traffic. An awesome part of being at Ozona is the relationship we have within our community. Let’s be good neighbors!

Mrs. Downes, the staff and I are looking forward to a fantastic first day!

Go Ospreys!
