Say boo to the flu with a free flu vaccine
Oct. 8, 2020
The Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) urges everyone to get their vaccine before Halloween. Although many health insurance providers cover the cost of the flu vaccine, those who are under- or uninsured may find it hard to afford it.
This year, you can say boo to the flu with three opportunities to get your influenza protection at no cost to you.
For the seventh year, the DOH-Pinellas is bringing back its BooFlu BooFlu BooFlu BooFlu BooFlu BooFlu Boo events to provide flu vaccines at no cost via a drive-thru. To make it even more convenient, this year’s vaccination clinics will be held at three locations over three days. Adults and children older than three can get flu vaccines at no cost without an appointment. Hours at these locations are 5-7 p.m.
