The NAMM Foundation has named Pinellas County Schools one of the 2025 Best Communities for Music Education. This is the sixth consecutive year that Pinellas has earned this recognition.
The award recognizes and celebrates outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, and students who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Districts that earn this honor demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment to and access to music education. The NAMM Foundation is a nonprofit that advances active participation in music.
To qualify for the designation, the district answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, and support for music programs.
