Two Pinellas teachers earn spots as national trainers for the College Board Pre-AP Program

Dunedin Highland Middle School teacher Dr. Teresa Bergstrom and Carwise Middle School teacher Jamie Colver have been appointed to the Pre-AP National Faculty.
They were selected to become national faculty for their work piloting the Pre-AP World History and Geography course in middle school. They will become national trainers to support schools across the country as they begin offering this course in middle school.
They were chosen for demonstrating effective teaching practices, proven classroom success and their experience leading professional learning. Pre-AP National Faculty members are College Board-endorsed educators who facilitate professional learning experiences in more than 46 states and over 1,000 districts around the world. They are stewards of the College Board’s mission to clear a path for all students to own their future by promoting excellence and equity in education.
The Pre-AP Program collaborates with educators to ensure that students of all ability levels have the supports they need to succeed on grade-level coursework and have access to engaging classroom experiences.
