St. Pete

Pinellas County Summer Reading Kickoff Event: Saturday, June 1st 10:30-12 at James Weldon Johnson Library. This summer the St. Petersburg Library System offers free programming for all ages, including take-home activities, reading challenges, prizes and more. Pick up a summer programming packet at our free kickoff event, including take & make craft kits for kids, teens, and adults. Enjoy balloon art from Tony the Balloon Guy, explore an electric bus with PSTA’s touch-a-bus program, and grab a free Sno-cone. A beloved Rays mascot will make a special appearance during the event. Tombolo Books Middle Grades Book Club: Meets third Monday of every month at Tombolo Bookstore, reads a wide variety of age-appropriate genres, open to 4th-6th graders (and a little on either side!)
