Summer Reading - Middle School

Summer Reading

Over the summer, middle school students are expected to read the respective book below for their ELA class.

These books can be checked out from your local public library, purchased on Amazon or local bookstores including Barnes and Noble, and a few copies will be available through check out from the school in the front office.  Digital copies of these titles are also available for check-out on Sora through Clever.

These books will be referenced throughout the year as anchor texts for lessons to come. Students will read the chosen book for their upcoming grade level and will have a follow-up quiz within the first month of school. These quizzes will be administered in the English Language Arts classes. Additional reading of your choice is always encouraged to enhance your reading skills.
