Mindful Movement (MM) takes a 360-degree approach to helping individuals become their most well-balanced, educated, and healthy selves. Mindful Movement uses the power of holistic teachings to empower students. In addition to the physical components of yoga, they also teach mediation, a transformative skill that helps students relax and enhance their self-understanding.
The program encourages positive thinking and teaches the power of affirmation. These tools become the foundation for positive behavior, conflict resolution, and making positive life choices among the youth they serve.
Classes are offered at Meadowlawn Middle School once a week: On Tuesdays at 8:15 AM for Girls and on Thursdays at 8:15 AM for Boys
