Weekly Message for the Week of 3-31-25
Good evening, Green Devil Families!
Here is your March 31st weekly update for school events and information:
* Report Cards for the 3rd Quarter will be able electronically in Focus on Thursday, April 3rd.
*On Wednesday, April 2nd all 9th and 10th grade students will sit for the FAST-Writing exam. This is a state Writing assessment. Please remind your child to bring their district issued laptop fully charged to school for this assessment on Wednesday!
*Senior parents, please remind your senior to complete their EXIT SURVEY on XELLO. The directions for out to do that are on their C/O 2025 TEAMS page. Guidance needs all seniors to complete this before they pick up their camp and gown on Thursday.
*Save the date for our Junior/Senior Prom, Friday, April 4th. Tickets are on sale now through April 1st in 01-234 for $50.00. There will be NO tickets sold at the door so please make sure to get yours ASAP. All financial obligations must be clear before purchasing a ticket. Guest Forms are available online, in the Main Office and in 01-234 and must be completed before a ticket can be purchased.

*Students interested in Dual Enrollment for next school year, please be sure and provide your counselor the SPC ID number you received after you applied. See your School Counselor if you need any assistance.
*Please save the date for our GRADUATION ceremony for the Class of 2025, Thursday, May 29th @7:30PM at the BayCare Sound in Clearwater. This is a new venue for us so, please stay tuned for more information. There will NOT be any tickets for this event as there is NOT a limit on guests per graduate.
*Senior families, please make sure you are part of a remind group if I you are not already receiving the information updates via text. You can also check out the senior class webpage via the SPHS Website at https://www.pcsb.org/domain/5079 . If you haven’t paid your Senior Dues, you can do so on that webpage as well.
*Our campus is open from 6:30AM-2:30PM each day. No student should be dropped off before 6:30AM and all students (unless they are in a school sponsored event and with an adult sponsor) should be OFF campus no later than 2:30PM.
Our office hours are 7:00AM to 3:00PM. If you need to sign your child out early from school, please make sure to do so prior to 1:30 PM. NO PTLs will be permitted after 1:30, students cannot be released during the last 25 minutes of the day.
Additional notes for this week:
*SENIOR parents- there are only 41 school days left until graduation on May 29th. Please make sure your senior is on track to graduate. This means earning the required credits, GPA and meeting state testing requirements. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s guidance counselor or Mr. Bryant (bryantan@pcsb.org) for assistance. Students who do not meet the credit and/or GPA requirements are NOT permitted to WALK at graduation.
*Please join the PTSA on Thursday, April 3rd at 6pm in the cafeteria for the net PTSA General Meeting.
*TEACHER Appreciation Week is May 5-9! PTSA is seeking monetary donations or gift cards, gift baskets or "experiences" for Teacher Appreciation Week. Donations can be made here https://stpetehigh.givebacks.com/store?limit=21&live=tru or mail a check made payable to SPHS PSA to the school. *All students are eligible for FREE breakfast and FREE lunch every day. We do still encourage all families to fill out the free/reduced lunch application if you think you are eligible as this will qualify you for free testing waivers and additional scholarship opportunities.
