Reopening Plan for Pinellas County Schools and Bay Vista
In conjunction with the Pinellas County Health Department and our local doctors, Pinellas County Schools has prepared a plan for a safe return to school.
Families will have three high-quality learning options to choose from. You may review these options carefully at www.pcsb.org/reopening. I have listed an abbreviated explanation of the three learning options below, but please read the full explanations at www.pcsb.org/reopening as all of your questions will be addressed there.
Once you decide which option your family prefers, you must log into the Student Reservation System with your parent username and password to select your option. The deadline to select your option is Monday, July 27th at 5:00 p.m. If you do not select an option, you will automatically be enrolled in face-to-face instruction at Bay Vista. If you do not know your username and password, please feel free contact us for assistance Monday through Thursday. The office is closed on Fridays.
For those families choosing to stay enrolled in face-to-face instruction at Bay Vista, more will be shared in the coming weeks regarding school supplies, teacher assignments, Open House and Meet the Teacher options, parent meetings, as well as our specific plan for a safe return to our campus.
If you were issued a school computer, please keep it to continue learning with Summer Bridge or to engage with the sites on Clever. Computers will be collected at the end of the summer or at the beginning of next school year.
