All scholars are encouraged to read as much as they can on myON during Spring break. Time spent reading will be recorded automatically within each student’s myON account. Winners will be selected from each grade level band based upon the total number of minutes they read on myON during the challenge period. Top 5 winners in each grade band will win a laptop. An additional 15 winners per grade band will win a fidget cube with earth magnets. Winners will be announced the week of March 20th. This is county-wide initiative, so all Pinellas County School scholars will be participating.
Steps to Accessing myOn
1. Log into Clever from desktop
2. Click on Renaissance
3. Click on myOn
4. Click on Library at the top of the screen
5. Click on Search at the top of the screen just under Library
6. Click on the fountain with 2 dots next to it
7. Click on Reading Level
8. Click on the level of the student or pick a book that is a level above or below
9. Click Search with magnifying glass (it is blue)
10. Choose any book to read from (please note that students will need to take their time listening to the book to fully comprehend the story)
