I am calling to invite you to participate in Meadowlawn Middle School’s Annual Title I Parent Survey Paper surveys will be distributed tomorrow Monday 12/5 to your child by their 7th period teacher. Please complete the survey and return it to school with your child. For your convenience, the survey is also available online in English and Spanish on our school’s website. The purpose of this survey is to provide our school and Pinellas County School District's (PCS) Title I Program leadership with valuable feedback from parents of students enrolled at our school. Your opinion is valued, appreciated, and important to continued school improvement
The Meadowlawn chapter of the National Junior Honor Society will be holding a food drive until December 16th. The food that is collected will be donated to Feeding Tampa Bay and will benefit local families in need. Any non-perishable food items will be accepted. Students can drop off donations in their first period class. The class that collects the most donations will receive a pizza party when we return from winter break.
On Wednesday 12/7 we will be hosting a Youth Leadership conference sponsored by Community Tampa Bay from 9:00-4:00pm. Selected students were given invitations to share with you on Friday.
On Thursday 12/8 we will hold our Winter Chorus Concert at NEHI starting at 7:00pm
1st Semester exams will be held staring on December 12th through Friday December 16th.
The policy of the Pinellas County schools is that each students must get a passing grade in each core academic subject which are math, science, English language arts and social studies each school year.
Our Winter Holidays will be from 12/19/16-1/2/17. Students will return to school on Tuesday 1/3/17
