Parents please be aware of and actively support three school wide initiatives. The first is a focus on daily, on time attendance in school by your child. The second is the required use of a 3” three ring binder by each student and the third initiative is the required use of the planner/agenda book by all students.
Please ask your child to share with you some of the culture building activities we worked on school wide this past week.
Our school tutoring program will begin tomorrow from 4:10-6:00pm Monday through Thursday. All students are welcome to receive assistance with homework, and to establish a structured study hall time. Students struggling academically, based on our spring administration of the FSA will be bringing home personal letters of invitation asking that you support and bring your child to receive organized assistance in areas of academic weakness each day.
Please be sure that we have a current accurate clinic card for your child in our school files.
Tryout for Volleyball and cheerleading will begin next Monday August 29th after school. To participate each student must have purchased school insurance, have a current physical and complete the participation form. In addition a GPA of 2.00 or better when applicable is needed to participate. 6th grade students are not subject to the GPA requirement until after the 1st 9 weeks.
