Welcome

  • Dr. Effiom

    Principal: Dr. Effiom

We have completed our second week of testing. We thank you for ensuring your child follows the schools and the State’s strict policy regarding electronic devices in testing locations and for limiting appointments and parent conferences Please continue to make sure your child comes to school on time daily as we enter our third week of testing.

In an effort to improve our school and District practices, Pinellas County Schools is conducting a Parent Survey.  We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to complete this survey.

In order to complete the survey, please go to:

                                        http://www.advanc-ed.org/survey/public/5419917

We need a minimum of least 30% of our parents completing this survey. We are currently at just 3%.

Our Spring Soccer program in partnership with Eckerd College will not be held on Tuesday April 26

On Wednesday 4/27 Progress Report grades will be sent home

Please pay close attention to your child’s grades. Failure in one of the four core academic classes (math, science, social studies, and language arts) will require that he/she attend Credit Recovery classes in the summer. An excellent grade this quarter may be enough to avoid this outcome

If you received a letter from the school or would like your child to attend Summer Bridge classes this summer please contact Ms. Brake in the front office. 8th grade students will attend Summer Bridge at their zoned high school unless they are not promoted and have to complete credit recovery first at Meadowlawn.

Our spring musical The Lion King will be presented on Thursday 5/ and Friday 5/6 from 6-9pm each evening. All parents and families are invited to watch the play and meet Mr. Sakoff, our Pinellas County School Volunteer of the year. Mr. Sakoff has spent all year directing this musical as strictly a volunteer at the school.

Parents in an effort to speed up car drop-off and pick-up we are asking that you always pull up as far forward as you can before dropping or picking up your child while traveling through the car circle.
