  • Tour Dates for Incoming 6th Grade Families

    Potential students and their families are invited to tour CFMS prior to the end of the application period. Please allow 30-45 minutes.

    Tuesdays at 9:30am:  11/15, 11/29, 12/6, 12/13, and 1/10

    Wednesday at 9:30am: 1/4

    Thursdays at 1:15pm: 11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, and 1/12

  • 2016-17 PCS Parent's Guide Now Available

    The district's 2016-17 Parent's Guide is going home with students on Wednesday, October 26.  The school received only one copy for each student.  Digital versions can be downloaded from the PCS website in English [PDF] and in Spanish [PDF].

  • Red Ribbon Week is October 24-28!

    Students participating in each day's activity may wear fundamental-length shorts!  All other dress code requirements remain in effect.

    Monday - Wear RED to kick off RED RIBBON WEEK

    Tuesday - Wear NEON COLORS colors to show you're TOO BRIGHT FOR DRUGS



    Friday - Dress like a MINION to show that DRUGS ARE DESPICABLE

  • PTA Reflections Art ContestFlyer

  • Parent University on Saturday, October 29

    PCS Parent University will be held 8-11:30 a.m. Oct. 29 at Countryside High School. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the general session begins at 8:30 a.m. The free event features workshops designed to help parents and caregivers support the academic success of elementary, middle and high school students. Topics include math, reading, and science; graduation requirements; college/career readiness; digital learning tools; and STEM.  

    Free immunizations and physicals will be provided. Free childcare for students in kindergarten through fifth grade will be provided for those who preregister. Parents and caregivers can register at For more information, please email Sheila Kane at

  • Attention 8th Grade Parents and Students 

    Pinellas County Schools will be holding a variety of events to help families learn about District Application Programs.  Parents will learn how to apply for magnet, fundamental and career programs at Parent Information Sessions. All sessions will be held 6:30-7:30 p.m. in school auditoriums:

    • Nov. 1 at Boca Ciega High, 924 58th St. S, Gulfport
    • Nov. 2 at Countryside High, 3000 SR 580, Clearwater
    • Nov. 7 at Pinellas Park High, 6305 118th Ave. N, Largo

    Families will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from all application programs at Information Fairs: 

    • 6 to 8 p.m., Nov. 10 at Gibbs High School, 850 34th St. S, St. Petersburg.
    • 9 a.m. to noon, Nov. 12 at Pinellas Park High School, 6305 118th Ave N, Largo

    Families will be able to explore individual programs at Discovery Nights at each school.  Discovery Nights take place Nov. 14- Dec. 16.   • Clothes To Kids Donations Needed All Year

    CFMS is a drop-off location for donations to Clothes to Kids.  CTK accepts the following items in good and clean condition:  Children’s clothes (Girls and Boys – Sizes 4 to 16) • Adult size clothing that teens and pre-teens would wear (Young Women – Sizes 0 to 22 / Young Men – Sizes 18 to 44) • New underwear and socks (must be in unopened packages) • Shoes (Children’s size 9 to adult) • Bras, belts, purses, hats, jewelry, backpacks.  For more information, see the Clothes to Kids Mission and Donation Guidelines.
