  • Student Council Cereal for Summer Food Drive: April 25-May 6

    Student council will collect breakfast items (cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars) to benefit Feeding America Tampa Bay, who will offer items to children in need during the summer in their 10-county region.  See this flyer for more details, or click here to read more about how Feeding America Tampa Bay helps the community.

  • Fill the Bus Book Drive

    Pinellas County Schools is working with community partners to curb learning losses over the summer. Help Pinellas County Schools put books in the hands of students this summer by donating books at the Fill the Bus drop-off dates and locations:  

    • 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday, April 25 at Pinellas County Schools Administration Building, 301 4th St SW, Largo
    • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 26 at Tyrone Square Mall, 6901 22nd Ave N., St. Petersburg
    • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, Largo Mall, 10500 Ulmerton Road, Largo
    • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, April 28, Countryside Mall, 27001 US Highway 19 N, Clearwater

  • Over 200 8th Grade Baby Photos Still Needed!

    Parents, please submit a baby or toddler photo of your 8th grader to cfmsbabyphotos@gmail.com, with a file name reflecting your child's first and last names.  If you need a photo scanned, label it with your child's name and drop it off at the front office.  It will be returned to your child.  The deadline to submit a photo is Friday, April 29.  To date, we have received 46 of 250 photos.  Please spread the word!

  • Important: Student Lunch Accounts

    May 20th will be the last day any charges for student lunches will be allowed.  No Exceptions will be made.  If a student does not have money for a lunch in their account, an alternate lunch of a cheese sandwich and milk will be given.

  • Immunization Requirements for 7th Grade

    Parents of 6th graders:  Your child will not be permitted to enter or attend the 7th grade in August 2016 without proof of immunizations.  Please see the Immunization Requirements (in Spanish and English).

  • FSA Testing Has Begun

    CFMS students are encouraged to complete practice assessments at the Florida Standards Assessment website.  The Practice Test Quick Guide provides an overview of practice test features, along with keyboard navigation commands.

  • Academic Tutoring is Available Monday - Thursday

    The CFMS Extended Learning Program has begun.  Tutoring by CFMS faculty in civics, language arts, math and science is available at no cost.  See the Weekly Tutoring Schedule and the CFMS web calendar for specific dates and times.

  • PCS Family Engagement Mobile App

    The PCS Family Engagement Mobile App provides parents access to extended classroom opportunities, family engagement tips and opportunities and parent “How To” videos. There is information about parent workshop schedules, parent peer support, and information that will support student learning and school improvement. Click here for more information.
