Welcome to John M. Sexton Elementary School! We are home to the Sexton Stingrays. Sexton is a community school built in 1997. We are located on 54th Avenue North, adjacent to Meadowlawn Middle School and Northeast High School. Sexton's caring community of staff, parents, and volunteers work together to enrich the lives of all our students. Sexton has always and will continue to provide a well-rounded education for all our students.

he Viking XC Challenge 5k run and 1 mile fun run/walk
October 10, 2015 Time: 5k=7:30am and 1 mile=8:30am Race starts on the grass field behind Sexton Elementary (next to the Northeast High baseball fields). Registration will be at the track beginning at 6:30am.
The last pre-registration in person is this Friday, 9/18 from 4:00-6:00pm at Tropical Smoothie, 1201 4th Street North, St. Petersburg. The Tampa Bay Rowdies will be present for signing/autographs and if you register, you get a free Jetty Punch (strawberry/banana) 24oz smoothie. Or you can pre-register by mail (postmark by 9/30)-mail registration form to Northeast High School (Attn: Bookkeeper), 5500 16th Street N., St. Petersburg, FL 33703. All checks make payable to Northeast High Boosters. Participants will only get a shirt if they pre-register. There will be no shirts for race day registration. See the flyer for prices and donations.
