  • Welcome to the Azalea Middle School website and thanks for visiting! At Azalea Middle our mission is to create a quality learning environment for your child. A strong partnership between school and home is a critical component of your child’s success. It is our desire that this website will be a useful resource for you.     After school enrichment opportunities

    After school clubs and tutoring are available and transportation is provided. Please check with your child's school counselor for details. If your child did not pass one or more classes first semester, please get him or her enrolled and participating in course recovery right away.

  • Scholastic Book Fair "Bookin' It To Summer":

    In the media center

    May 23rd - 27th

    This is an opportunity to buy books for summer reading.

    Parents are encouraged to stop by the book fair on Friday during the 8th Grade dance or any time between 10 am - 3 pm


    Parents can also volunteer at the book fair all week long. Please sign up on Volunteer Spot by clcking the link


    What's also exciting is that we will have a contest!

    For the Language Arts grade level classrooms who buy the most books, the winning classes will get a Dunkin'Donuts Party hosted by the PTSA!


    All proceeds of the sale will benefit Azalea Middle's Media Center

  • Project Aware Parent Focus Group:  Azalea Middle School Families!

    You are invited to participate in a parent/guardian focus group to share your opinions about youth mental health and the role of the school and community in addressing youth mental health needs.

    The group will be facilitated by the Pinellas County Schools Project AWARE (Advancing Wellness and Resiliency in Education) team. The focus group will be held at:

  • Enroll now for Summer Bridge:  This summer, Summer Bridge is on our campus, unlike the past few years. Summer Bridge runs from June 20 to July 14 (no school July 4), Monday through Thursday. The hours are 8:00 a.m. until noon. Transportation is provided for Azalea students. Summer Bridge is primarily for students who need additional support for reading and math. Course recovery will also be available this summer for students who have failed one or two core courses.
