Spirit Week will take place from Sept. 30-Oct. 4 this year. Each day of the week will have different themes, and this year they will be the following:
- Monday: Character Day
- Tuesday: Twin Day
- Wednesday: Class Color (Freshmen: Yellow. Sophomores: Blue. Juniors: Green. Seniors: Red).
- Thursday: Career Day
- Friday: Black and Gold day.
During this week, the Lakewood dress code will be waived, and students will be allowed to follow the less strict Pinellas County dress code. However, this is only if students are participating in the activities. Students cannot be out of dress code if they are not dressed in the theme of the day.
The Homecoming game will be on Oct. 4 against Sebring High School at 7:30 p.m. at Lakewood.
The Homecoming dance will be on Oct. 5 at the Lakewood High Athletic Complex with the theme of Havana Nights. The dance will last four hours, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets will be $20 and will be available for purchase all next week during lunch in front of the cafeteria until the end of Spirit Week. The dance will only be open to Lakewood students this year.
