Welcome to Midtown Academy Center for Cultural Arts & Gifted Studies
Our Midtown scholars experience the best of all worlds – academics and the arts – in classrooms centered around hands-on learning with STEM enrichment. We’re the only south Pinellas elementary school offering:
Double the arts! Four times per week arts/music classes.
Cultural immersion field trips! Frequent visits to museums and local cultural institutions.
All instructors gifted trained! High-level teaching strategies in every classroom.
Our small-school environment ensures that every child receives the personalized tools to succeed academically and become a real-world problem solver. Seeing is believing. We invite you to tour our historic campus, and explore our classrooms in action!
Late applications are still open for the Center for Gifted Studies for the 2019-2020 school year and spots remain available! For additional information, contact our magnet coordinator at 727-893-1358 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am excited to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Keila Victor and I have recently accepted the position as Principal of Midtown Academy. I was previously the principal of Bay Vista Fundamental.
I am looking forward to the opportunity to support the school mission to develop the academic and social emotional skills of every student, every day, at every opportunity by committing to academic excellence through a rigorous instructional program and developing the leadership qualities needed for college, career and life.
My goal is to foster a collaborative environment that leads to highest student achievement seeking buy in and ownership of all stakeholders. I look forward to building positive relationships with students, teachers, staff and community as we work together toward 100% success.
In closing, I would like to say Thank you for welcoming me to Midtown Academy.
