    The Seminole Basketball

    Camp is a great opportunity

    for kids aspiring to learn the

    game of basketball while im-
    proving overall athleticism

    and motor skills. Campers will

    be put through drills and

    competitions in small group

    settings of 6-8 kids to receive

    direct individual attention

    from the staff. The Camp is

    designed to give kids a fun

    and exciting introduction to

    the fundamentals of basket-
    ball that will maximize and

    develop their basketball skills,

    coordination, and athleticism.

    Power of Giving Student Service Program!

    We are seeking current sophomores from Hillsborough and Pinellas County schools to join the 2016-17 program via an online application @www.ryannecefoundation.org.  The application period is February 29 –April 15.  Students will be notified of their acceptance into the program May 2.  A mandatory meeting will be held May 17 and as least one parent/guardian must attend.


    Students selected for the program will:

    Need to be able to commit to a two-year leadership development program and be able to travel for a capstone service learning trip.  This may include international travel and would require a valid passport.

    Be responsible to complete a 10 month leadership curriculum course work on time, attend monthly meetings and service projects, and participate in community outreach programs and/or fundraising events in the evenings and/or weekends.

    Have opportunities to earn over 60 service hours (Bright Futures and CAS qualified).

    Meet and work with students and mentors from diverse backgrounds from the greater Tampa Bay area.

    Have opportunities for internships and letters of recommendation from the Ryan Nece Foundation Board of Directors and staff.

    Develop usable and marketable skills such as project management, public speaking, social media, fundraising, social enterprise creation and management, collaboration, business etiquette, etc.
