Home of the Spartans
Good evening, Spartan Families,
I want to thank you again for your patience as we made it through our first week of virtual learning. The schedule for this week is posted on both the slide show, and in the announcement section of the Tarpon Springs Middle School website (located beneath the scrolling slides). As a reminder, the schedule shows specific times teachers will be available in their virtual classrooms, but students may complete the lessons at any time during the school day. Please also keep in mind we are having our virtual spirit week to help make things fun for our students. Monday is "hats off to emergency workers" to thank everyone working on the front line!
I requested that teachers post the weekly schedule, along with a suggested breakdown for each day, to help our families know exactly what is due for their student. You should also see grades inputted in FOCUS. Some teachers placed zeros or Ms for missing assignments to help you see what still needs to be turned in. Please remember, students may still submit work from last week without penalty.
I am also aware of the removal of the "assignment" tab located in TEAMS. This appears to be a district-wide problem with many of our secondary schools. Please know I have already submitted the concern to the teach team.
Once again, I appreciate the support of all our Tarpon Springs Middle School families.
