  • School Bus Pinellas County Schools Transportation Department is implementing a new system to inform you when your child’s bus is going to be delayed or schedule changes. You are receiving this notification because your student’s school is part of a pilot effort to use a system called Bus Bulletin.


    The Bus Bulletin notification system will notify parents and students when there are bus delays and schedule changes. If you would like to receive instant notifications when delays or incidents affect your student's bus, please register with Bus Bulletin.


    • There is no cost to you for this service.
    • Registration is simple and fast.
    • You can choose to receive either text messages, phone calls, and e-mails or all of these options.
    • All contact information is stored securely and will not be shared or sold. Your privacy is protected.
    • Please note: this system is not related to Pinellas County Schools new emergency text message communications through SchoolMessenger.

  • SAC The School Advisory Committee is made up of the school administration and volunteers, with leadership by a volunteer. SAC supports the school in achieving its Mission and Vision by reviewing and suggesting improvements to school policies, the School Improvement Plan, the school budget, Title I funds, and engaging in discussions as needed for school support and improvement. SAC meets once a month.


    Why Join SAC?

    • Learn more about what is happening at Frontier, especially the progress towards meeting our School Improvement Goals
    • Keep up with the changes made by the state that directly impact your child’s learning —Florida Standards, State Assessments and more!
    • Gain insight into the strategies being implemented to increase learning and safety at our school.
    • If you are interested in learning more about SAC and potentially engaging, please mark your calendars for the first meeting of the year on Wednesday, August 28th at 4:00 p.m.
    • We are currently looking for a parent volunteer to lead our SAC. We will make sure you receive the training you need to implement SAC.

Frontier Elementary News

  • Congratulations to Frontier Elementary School for being selected as an ECTAC 2019 Exceeding Expectations Award School for Student Achievement.


    Frontier current & former principals, Heather Peters & Tracie Bergman along with former reading coach, Dolores Hudson were honored on October 29th at a state wide conference in Orlando. Frontier is the only Pinellas County Title I school to achieve this honor.

    Frontier Elementary does not have a Uniform Policy.  We follow the Pinellas County School Board Dress Code that can be found in the Student Code of Conduct.

    Homework Helpline – 727-547-7223


    The Homework Helpline is a free service for all PCS students. The service is available 5 to 8 p.m., Monday-Friday. Students can get help with math, science, social studies and language arts. Students who need practice reading can also call the helpline and spend 10 minutes reading to an adult.
