Good Evening Eagle Families,
Here is some important information:
Sign up for the Free ACT TEST Prep Program offered this summer- Because the State of Florida had to cancel state testing this year, our 10th graders have not had a chance to take and pass the state’s reading test that is required for graduation. In order to help students and families get this requirement taken care of BEFORE we start school next year, we are running an ACT preparation program this summer for this year’s 10th grade students who will be in 11th grade in 2020-21.
The class will be direct instruction virtually, 6/22-7/16. Monday -Thursday – 9 AM-11 AM. The ACT will be on July 18th.
In order to sign up: USE THE SRS System reservation.pcsb.org
to sign up for High School Summer Bridge Rising 11th Grade ACT PREP program, or email Mrs. Wahrendorf at email@example.com.
This program is critical, we are providing ALL students who sign up before June 5th a FREE ACT VOUCHER so they can take the ACT test for free on July 18th after participating in the Summer ACT PREP PROGRAM.

Message from Dr. Grego to the Class of 2020
Dear Graduates and Families,
As the 2019-2020 school year comes to a close, I wanted to send an update on the status of graduation ceremonies.
As a community we celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the Class of 2020. Based on the feedback to the PCS graduation survey from over 7,000 students and family members, the district continues planning for in-person graduation ceremonies during July.
District staff continues to work with senior leadership from the Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies (Spectrum Field) and the city of Dunedin; however, exact dates and locations for each ceremony cannot be finalized until venue schedules have been set. As you may have seen in the news, Major League Baseball schedules have not yet been solidified. The district is also continuing to keep all options open, including the use of our school sites, and limiting the number of guests, should that be needed. As soon as locations, dates and times are confirmed, they will be communicated by both district and school leaders.
If health and safety regulations do not allow large group gatherings, further communication, including links to school-specific virtual graduation ceremonies will be sent.
Congratulations to all of the graduates in Pinellas County Schools! Your teachers, family, friends and community are so very proud of all your achievements and look forward to celebrating you during your commencement ceremony.
Michael A. Grego, Ed.D.
