    The Kappa Alpha Psi Guide Right Foundation of St. Petersburg is a non-profit organization. The purpose of the Foundation is to partner with parents, educators, sponsors, and community leaders in building young leaders of tomorrow around the pillars of Science, Charity, Achievement, Litercy, Education and Service (SCALES).

    To qualify for a Guide Right Scholarship or Guide Right Grant you must meet the following criteria.

    Graduating high school seniors who are dependents of an active duty, retired, or deceased member of the military are eligible for scholarship awards to be used toward their secondary education. The scholarship application is open to graduating seniors at any Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Pasco County high school in Tampa Bay, FL, as well as graduating seniors at any high school in Colorado Springs, CO.

    IVLA understands the importance of a college education for students! We also understand the expense to families in providing a college education for their children. We are proud to announce that we are offering a $1,000 scholarship to a student who will be attending a post-secondary school in the Fall of 2024.

    We are offering a $1,000 scholarship to any U.S. student accepted to a national college or university who meets the following guidelines. Our goal is to provide opportunities to make a college education more affordable to students who desire to pursue a higher education. Our selection process is merit-based and determined by the creativity of a 500 word essay submitted through our website.

    Scholarship Guidelines: U.S. resident accepted to an accredited U.S. university, community college, or trade school; Submit a 300 – 500 word essay; Have a 2.5 GPA or higher; and Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student with 1+ school year(s) remaining.     Thank you for your interest in the Coastal Jaw Surgery Scholarship Program. The purpose of our scholarship is to grant a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior. This year, two total scholarships will be given to the winners across Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. As an applicant, you must plan on pursuing a career within the healthcare field. 

    Please complete the application, along with a 250-word essay about your career aspirations, attach a copy of your transcripts, and return it all to Coastal Jaw Surgery Scholarship Committee, 8740 Mitchell Blvd, Trinity, FL 34655. You may also submit your application to marketing@coastaljaw.com.  The deadline for submitting your fully completed application is May 3, 2024.


     

    American Muslim Alliance of Florida

    The American Muslim Alliance of Florida Inc. will be awarding a total of $20,000 in scholarships to thirty students in support of Florida high school senior students in pursuit of a college education. The top 10 students will each receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. In addition, 20 students will each receive a scholarship in the amount of $500. Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify:
    1. The applicant must be graduating from a public, private, or home school within the state of Florida and entering college as a full-time student.
    2. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and attach official copies of school transcripts.
    3. Applicant must provide two letters of recommendation from teachers of core subjects. Please limit letters of recommendation to one page for each recommendation.
    4. Applicant’s guidance counselor must complete page 2.
    5. Applicant must compose and type a one-page, single-spaced essay stating why you should be awarded a scholarship, and why you plan to further your studies at a college or university.
    6. Applicant completes and submits page 4.
    Scholarship Program is open for students of all faith and race. The winners will not be announced before the Scholarship Award Ceremony.


    CALL ME MISTER

    Call Me MiSTER is a College of Education initiative based on the USF St. Petersburg campus that recruits men of color to get their undergraduate degree and teacher certification or a Master’s of Arts degree in Teaching.     Pinellas County Graduates, including high school seniors entering as Freshmen AND returning undergraduate students at Florida State University, are eligible for Pinellas Seminole Cub scholarships.
    There are 3 scholarships available and various ways to apply which are outlined below.
    1. To apply for the Pinellas Seminole Club Legacy Endowed Scholarship, applications must be submitted through the Academic Works (FS4U) website.
    a. This option is open only to incoming freshmen accepted and committed to attending Florida State University.
    b. Other submission methods must be used for returning undergraduate student applications.

    2. To apply for either the Pinellas Seminole Club incoming freshman OR returning undergraduate scholarships, applications may be submitted via email.
