    Wallot is excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for our inaugural Florida Visionary Scholarship Program. This program celebrates the inspirational academic, athletic, and extracurricular achievement of Florida students by awarding each recipient a yearly merit scholarship toward their college's cost of attendance.

    All graduating Seniors from the state of Florida who are matriculating to an accredited 2-year or 4-year college this Fall are eligible to apply.

    $1,500 Scholarship. In order to recognize the hard work and contributions of our student volunteers, ToyMakers of EastLake is excited to announce we are offering two $1,500 scholarships available to college and trade school students. Applications must be received by March 31, 2025. The board of directors will select and announce the two scholarship recipients by April 30, 2025. Criteria for application are:

    • Currently a junior or senior in high school 
    • Minimum 2.5 GPA 
    • Completed 50 hours of volunteer service with ToyMakers of East Lake between June 2024 and May 2025.

    $5,000 Scholarship. Four scholarships for two boys and two girls, with a value of $5,000 each, will be awarded in June 2025 to two Black and two Hispanic students currently completing their senior year of high school in a member district of the Council of the Great City Schools. Applicants must be accepted for full-time enrollment at a four-year college or university in the next academic year and pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).     Graduating seniors and/or young adults (age 25 or younger) who are residents of the State of Florida seeking post-secondary education and who have suffered the death of a parent, sibling, or guardian. The distribution of funds will be determined after all scholarship applications have been received.     2025 Paul Toomey IT Scholarship

    Deadline 4/7/2025

    $3,000 Scholarship. Criteria for the scholarship includes above-average achievement and motivation towards advancing his/her education in a computer-related field, outstanding service to school and the community, involvement in extracurricular events, and admirable leadership. Failure to submit ANY of the requested documents and information will warrant immediate scholarship disqualification.

    $5,000 Schoarship. Accounting+ will be awarding twenty students nationally $5,000 in educational funding. The Accounting Careers: Limitless Opportunities Scholarship is open to U.S. high school students between 13-19 years old who have completed at least one Accounting Careers: Limitless Opportunities course module. Students must submit a 300-500 word essay for a chance to win.

    Give Kids a Chance Scholarship

    Deadline 4/30/2025

    Give Kids A Chance is offering scholarshp grants in the amount of $1,250 to high school seniors planning to attend college. The scholarship will be offered to those students graduating from pblic hgih schools in the state of Florida. STudents who are attending college and who have previously received a grant under this program will also be eligible to apply for additional grants for each year they remain in college and maintain a minimum grade point average if 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (no more than 4 years). 

    Requirements: 

    1. Must have a 2.5 average or above 
    2. Must document financial need
    3. Demonstate an interest in school and community activities
    4. Application must be received on or before April 30, 2025
    5. Two letters of recommendation are required.

    $3,000 Scholarship. The My Mission of Care Scholarship is designed to support graduating high school seniors who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. Inspired by Aveda’s mission to care for the world we live in, this scholarship encourages students to share how they embody care—whether through sustainability, wellness, beauty, or community service.

    Two $500 Scholarships. Coastal Jaw Surgery believes there is a need for more quality individuals within the healthcare field. Therefore, this award will be given to a senior who intends to pursue a career in any healthcare related field. This scholarship program was initiated to help students faced with the increasing costs of higher education, coupled with the decreasing source of funding to pay for education.

    Coastal Jaw Surgery is a surgical based, multi-specialty dental practice, offering comprehensive oral healthcare services including Same Day Teeth®, traditional dental implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and periodontal services. Our doctors are offering this scholarship program as part of our continuing effort to focus on the education needs of the public and other healthcare professionals.

    Deadline 5/4/2025 for Spring Semester.

    $2,500 Scholarship. In partnership with Intuit for Education, one student winner will be awarded $2,500 in educational funding from each semester-based entry period during the 2024-25 school year. The Financial Futures Student Scholarship Contest is open to students (age 13-19) who have completed at least one lesson within the course Tax Simulation: Understanding Taxes. To enter for a chance-to-win, students will be asked to submit an application form and share how learning about tax topics has made an impact on their life through a reflection essay (200-500 words).

    $1,000 Scholarship. OneMain Financial will be awarding thirty-six students nationally with $1,000 in educational funding. The Credit Worthy Scholarship is open to U.S. high school students between 13-19 years old who have completed Build: Credit Fundamentals or at least 3 modules of a course offered in the Credit Worthy program presented by OneMain Financial. Students will submit a short essay about what they learned and how the Credit Worthy program by OneMain Financial has made an impact on them for a chance to win.

    $500-$1000 scholarship. Scholarship Program is open for students of all faith and race. Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify:

    1. The applicant must be graduating from a public, private, or home school within the state of Florida and entering college as a full-time student.
    2. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and attach official copies of school transcripts.
    3. Applicant must provide two letters of recommendation from teachers of core subjects. Please limit letters of recommendation to one page for each recommendation.
    4. Applicant's guidance counselor must complete page 2.
    5. Applicant must compose and type a one-page, single-spaced essay stating why you should be awarded a scholarship, and why you plan to further your studies at a college or university.
    6. Applicant completes and submits page 4.

    $1,200 Scholarship, renewable. To be eligible to apply for one of our scholarships, students must meet the following criteria: 

    • Be a resident of Pinellas County.
    • Be a citizen of the United States of America.
    • Be eligible to receive a Pell Grant for the upcoming school year.
    • Plan to attend a regionally accredited college or university in the upcoming school year.
    • Plan to be enrolled full time carrying at least 12 credit hours.
    • Plan to receive a bachelor's degree.
    • Have a high school GPA of 3.0 or better OR a college GPA of 2.0 or better.
