    Dear New Heights Family,


    As we prepare for an amazing school year, we wanted to give you some information that may help you get your scholars organized.

    • On the following pages we have shared a Universal Requested Supply List that all students will need along with a more grade level specific supply list for our Primary and Intermediate scholars. Pre-K and ASD supply lists will be a bit different and posted by August 2nd. You Don’t forget Florida’s “Back-to-School” Tax Holiday runs from July 31st to August 9th and you will have all supply list information well before it comes to an end so you can take advantage of those savings.


    • We will have teacher assignments completed and shared the week of August 2nd. If your scholar’s teacher is requesting any additional supplies beyond what is already listed, we will have that information posted on our school website.


    • We have listed some notes regarding our School Uniform Policy. Even though we are a Non-Uniform school, we will still be following county guidelines and wanted to make sure we were all on the same page to start the school year.


    • Our 2021 Meet the Teacher Event is scheduled for Monday August 9th from 3pm – 5pm. This is a chance for you to come by meet your teacher and see where your scholar will be learning this year. This is NOT going to be a formal presentation, just a quick meet and greet to better prepare you and your scholar for the 2020-2021 school year.

    Dress Guidelines/Reminders


    • All shirts and blouses must cover midriff, back, sides and all undergarments at all times.
    • All shirts, tops and dresses shall have sleeves and cover shoulders
    • Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be mid-thigh length or longer
    • All trousers, pants or shorts must totally cover undergarments, including boxer shorts.
    • Form fitting leotard/spandex type clothing is not allowed unless proper outer garments cover to mid-thigh length or longer.
    • Safe and appropriate footwear must be worn at all times:
      • NO Crocs
      • NO Flip-flops
      • NO Slides

    School hours are 8:45 to 2:55.  Students may be on campus starting at 8:15 for breakfast.  Please have your students to school by 8:30 for breakfast.  Students not eating breakfast should report to the Media Center.  Instruction will begin at 8:45.
