The Valentine's Dance, sponsored by NJHS, will take place on Friday, February 9 from 3-5pm. Snacks and drinks for the dance are needed by Friday and can be dropped off in the front office. Tickets are $5 and will be on sale Wednesday through Friday before school in the front lobby.

5pm Presentation: Caroline Brasfield Carter, Love and Logic - Caroline is a former Pinellas County teacher who is now a local Parenting with Love and Logic Facilitator. Love and Logic teaches parents how to set limits without waging war and avoiding power struggles, methods for teaching responsibility and ways to put an end to arguing, back-talk and begging.
7pm Presentation: Jason Dorr, Media Influences and safety - Jason is the director of More2Life, a youth development program that empowers students know that their choices affect their future. His presentation will focus on keeping our students media safe. He will discuss the dangers of social media, distractions and addictions, trends and challenges, inappropriate content, online predators (Catfishing), and mobile device guidelines for your home and how to safeguard your devices.

CFMS teachers provide afterschool tutoring in Math, Science, Civics, and Language Arts through our Extended Learning Program. Tutoring takes place from 2:50 - 3:35 pm Mondays through Thursdays. See the schedule to find specific days, teachers, and locations for each subject area. ELP meetings are also posted on the CFMS web calendar.
Mrs. Woods will hold organizational class every Tuesday from 7:40-8:10 am for new students, and again from 2:50-3:45 pm for students who have previously attended the morning session. CFMS is a drop-off location for donations to Clothes to Kids. CTK accepts the following items in good and clean condition: Children’s clothes (Girls and Boys – Sizes 4 to 16) • Adult size clothing that teens and pre-teens would wear (Young Women – Sizes 0 to 22 / Young Men – Sizes 18 to 44) • New underwear and socks (must be in unopened packages) • Shoes (Children’s size 9 to adult) • Bras, belts, purses, hats, jewelry, backpacks. The PCS Family Engagement Mobile App provides parents access to extended classroom opportunities, family engagement tips and opportunities and parent “How To” videos.
