Learning Option Change
Parents may request a change from/to face-to-face learning and from/to MyPCS Online at any time. The school will work to honor the change within five school days of receiving the request. Parents should be aware that changing Learning Options will likely result in a change of teachers.
To submit your request:
The school will respond to your request within five school days with information on when the change will take place and any important information to make the Learning Option Change successful for your child.

We proudly provide Pinellas County families with a robust offering of educational choices, including high quality neighborhood schools and 80 magnet, fundamental and career-focused programs, including gifted studies, engineering, computer programs, the arts, and virtual school. Families can find a school or program that engages and aligns with their children’s talents, interests, and abilities.
STEP 1: Discover your options
• Review guide sent home with your child or visit www.pcsb.org/choice to learn about the different District Application Program offerings.
• Attend one of the DAP Choice Fairs to discover more about the programs that
match your child’s interests, talents, and learning style.
• Visit and tour schools you are interested in to learn more.
STEP 2: Apply online Jan. 6–15 before 5:00 PM
In-County Residents:
• Get a parent user ID and password. If you do not already have a User ID and
password for your family, go to a nearby school and ask for one. Bring a photo ID.
Only one User ID and password is needed per family.
• Apply online at https://reservation.pcsb.org using your User ID and password.
Select the District Application Programs option. You can select up to five
programs.

We continue to partner with the school district to prepare for the upcoming school year. As we have learned over the last few months, we must be flexible to change but remain prepared to serve. Should the school district need to make changes from what is currently planned, we will modify our plans accordingly. Because our programs have filled to capacity in the past, we want to provide you with opportunity to enroll. Don't wait, it will fill up quickly!
Rest assured, we will continue to follow the CDC's guidance on providing care to youth. The protocols as they stand today include verbal wellness checks, temperature taking and appropriate distancing. As the school year approaches we will share the updated protocols so you have an understanding of the protocols we will follow.

Some IMPORTANT REMINDER for our parents:
We would like to remind parents that our program fees draft via Electronic Funds Transfer every Saturday prior to the week of care. All participants are required to be set up on EFT processing via credit card or bank account. Our sites are not able to accept cash, check or money order payments. Should you wish to pay via another method of payment, you may visit our School Age Program office to pay prior to the schedule draft processing. Parents may also pay their balance ahead via their online account.
In order to avoid a disruption in services, all outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to beginning the 20/21 school year program.
*Vacation weeks apply to eligible plans. Grand and subsidy recipients must adhere to the requirements of the grant or subsidy to with they receive.
