Please be aware that the window to request a PE Waiver is now open. Pinellas County Schools PE Waiver (also available through the RESOURCES link on this website)
Any 7th grader wanting to waive PE for 7th grade must also take health this summer as Health and PE are paired.
To register your student in Virtual Health Education, please do the following:
- Visit: https://www.pcsb.org/virtualschool
- Click on Enrollment/Registration
- Click on Middle School Courses
- Scroll down to M/J Health 5 for 7th Graders and click on Register Now.
Your student will take the course virtually over the summer. For additional information or questions for Pinellas Virtual School, please call 588-6448. Have a great day.
PCS Connects Enrichment Activity
The district will be holding different learning sessions for all students to attend after school. These opportunities are called PCS Connects Enrichment Opportunities. You will be receiving information about these sessions from the communications department.

Learning Option Change Request
Starting second semester, parents may request a change from/to face-to-face learning and from/to MyPCS Online at any time. The school will work to honor the change within five school days of receiving the request. Parents should be aware that changing Learning Options will likely result in a change of teachers/courses. Not all core and elective courses are offered in both Learning Options.
To submit your request:
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 727-724-1442 ext. 2007 and speak to Diane Giaccone
- Include “Learning Option Change” in the subject of your email
- In the body of the email, please include your child’s full legal name, grade and the best phone number to contact you if more information is needed.
- Also, include in your email if you want to move TO face-to-face or TO MyPCS online.
The school will respond to your request within five school days with information on when the change will take place and any important information to make the Learning Option Change successful for your child.
