Seminole High School is excited to announce Ms. M. Jane Lucas as Principal. Ms. Lucas has been an integral member of the SHS Community for many years. I am the Assistant Principal in charge of the Freshman class. Before joining SHS, I served as an Instructional Staff Developer for Professional Development in Pinellas County. My prior teaching experience includes teaching Science and serving as Science Department Head. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Education, focusing in Language Arts and Social Studies. I earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.
In his 1st year at Seminole High School, Mr. Mortimer is the Assistant Principal in charge of Sophmores and Transportation.
11th & 12th Grade
Students A - KI joined our administrative team as an Assistant Principal overlooking athletics and the faculty among other responsibilities. I have earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I also have coached NCAA Division 1 college soccer for over a decade.

Students L - ZI have worked for Pinellas County Schools since 1995. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and my Master’s from the University of South Florida. Before coming to Seminole High School I was an administrator at Dixie Hollins High School for 10 years. Before that I was an ESE Specialist and also taught at Osceola Middle School.I am married, have 3 children, and 2 wonderful grandchildren. I am excited about joining the Warhawk family!
