    Mr. Bending earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology/Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from USF St. Pete. He has worked in Pinellas County Schools since 2012 as a science teacher and a 9-12 science instructional staff developer. Mr. Bending is excited to begin his new adventure in administration as a Seminole High Warhawk!

    		  Ms. Lawson's career as an educator began in 2006 as a Special Education Teacher at Buchholz High School in Gainesville, FL. Ms. Lawson transitioned to Hillsborough County Public Schools in 2007. Prior to coming to Seminole High School, she taught English at Alonso High School, was an ESE Specialist at both North Tampa EPIC and Brandon EPIC, worked as a District Staffing Specialist, and was a middle school Assistant Principal. Continue Reading...

    I have worked for Pinellas County Schools since 1995.  I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and my Master’s from the University of South Florida.  Before coming to Seminole High School I was an administrator at Dixie Hollins High School for 10 years.  Before that I was an ESE Specialist and also taught at Osceola Middle School. 
    I am married, have 3 children, and 2 wonderful grandchildren.  I am excited about joining the Warhawk family!

    		 I am the Assistant Principal of Academic Achievement, overseeing cohort 11th and 12th grades L-Z. Before joining SHS, I served as an Instructional Staff Developer for Professional Development in Pinellas County Schools. My prior teaching experience includes teaching Science and serving as Science Department Head. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a concentration in Language Arts and Social Studies. I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.
