Journeys in Journalism is hosting its 15th annual gallery show at the Studio@620, 620 First Ave. S in St. Petersburg. The exhibit will feature work from Melrose Elementary, John Hopkins Middle School and Lakewood High School. Opening night is on Friday (1/10), from 5-7 p.m.
“It is important for people to see students’ work displayed in a professional atmosphere,” photography teacher Jade Shiver said. “It’s also a lot fun for the CJAM families.”
If you are unable to make the opening night, the studio is also hosting a poetry slam on Saturday (1/11) from 3-5 p.m. and a Taste of the City on Thursday (1/16) at 5p.m.
