   The fifth annual John Hopkins Middle School World Drumming festival is scheduled for Saturday, Nov 1. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.at the school.

   The event will be showcase our own John Hopkins drummers, along with performances by Perkins, Jamerson, New Heights, Northwest, Sexton, and Campbell Park elementary schools. There will also be steel bands from Perkins and New Heights.

   There will be a chicken sandwich lunch sold by Outback Steakhouse, along with frozen yogurt from Menchies. All sales benefit the school.
