Ebola is a disease where the human body bleeds from the inside to the out. It is highly contagious and all you have to do is breathe the same air as someone with Ebola in order to get it.On September 30th a man from Africa came to the United states on a plane. He was perfectly fine for a couple days until he started having really bad fevers and finally went to the hospital. It was later then found out that the man had Ebola. Immediately, the other passengers that were on the same plane were found and put into isolation with the man to keep the disease from spreading.
When you have Ebola your body temperature rises and melts the insides of you and you get really bad fevers and headaches.
It is possible to live through Ebola, but most people die when they have it. If you live and the disease goes away, your body will still be affected by some problems that Ebola has caused.
The people with Ebola are isolated in a room with no windows so that there’s no way for their oxygen to get out. Of course these people need to eat and drink though so the government puts on suits with bubble wrap and oxygen masks on it and goes in the room to take care of the people.
Ebola originally was in Africa and lots of people had it and no one in the United States had it until now. The government is trying their best to find a cure for Ebola and to make sure the disease doesn’t get to anyone else.
If anyone else in the U.S gets Ebola and isn’t isolated, then millions of U.S .citizens could die. This fact scares a lot of U.S citizens.
