Can a 6-hour work day work?

Plenty of evidence suggests that cutting back on daily work hours can have substantial benefits, and not just because people are happier, the History Channel reported recently..
When people work less, if the work is done right, shortening the workday can also boost productivity.
If you're a parent and you have to work overnight, you could have your sleep and be more happy in the daytime.
According to the U.S. Labor Dept, most people who work eight-hour days spend at least an hour or two doing something other than work.
So that means one of two things can happen.
People would work even less (about four hours a day), or they would be more efficient with the shortened amount of time they have.
I think they would get more work done if they had less time to do it in.
