   Should the Rays move to Tampa? I think they should stay where they are. Their name may be the Tampa Bay Rays, but they have always been in St. Pete they need to stay here.

   The Rays have true, loyal fans in St. Pete, but the problem is the team needs a new stadium, and attendance has to improve.

   Will the Rays do better in the standings and at the gate if they played in Tampa?

   I don’t think so. Attendance might go up slightly, but they won’t improve in the standings. A new stadium and a new city have nothing to do with player performance.

   People in St. Pete need to ask themselves if they would drive 30 to 40 minutes to Tampa to see a Rays game.

   I wouldn’t – more than once or twice a year.

   Would you?
