    Pinellas County Schools Community Flu Shot Day - October 16, 2020 at any Walgreens.  Most insurance plans cover flu shots at no cost. For those who do not have insurance or are unable to afford a flu shot, participating Walgreens pharmacies will provide a voucher for a flu shot at no cost while supplies last. By getting a flu shot, you help defend yourself from the flu and are less likely to spread the virus to those around you. Vaccines subject to availability. State-, age- and health-related restrictions may apply. Flu Fighter!

    Pinellas Headstart Program-provides educational services, as well as health, dental, and nutritional supports, for expectant parents, children in foster care, families experiencing homelessness, children with disabilities.  More information here.

    Virtual ESE College, Career & Life Fair

    The Virtual ESE Fair will take place 6 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 15. Every year, Pinellas County Schools holds a college and career fair to help high school students with disabilities and their families plan for the future. The ESE College, Career & Life Fair is especially important for 11th- and 12th-graders. The FREE event provides information about financial aid, career training, job skills, college, supported living and more. There are two important steps for families: 

    • Step one: Starting Oct. 6: Preview organizations, colleges and agencies participating in the fair.:
    • Step two: Oct. 15 - 6 to 7:30 p.m.: Participate in ESE Fair Table Talks. Connect virtually with representatives:
