I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Lealman Innovation Academy.  With seventeen years of experience in education, including three years as a principal, I am excited to embark on this journey alongside our dedicated instructors, support staff, parents, and community organizations.

My educational philosophy revolves around the firm belief that children can learn and thrive in a safe, inclusive learning environment that sets high expectations for everyone within our school community.  I advocate and envision a learning community that empowers students to take an active role in their learning to equip them with the skills and knowledge for success in our ever-evolving society.

To facilitate student and staff growth.  I believe in cultivating a culture that promotes a growth mindset to ensure our education practices are systemic, sustainable, and effective.

I am honored to serve as your principal and look forward to working hand in hand with each of you to create an educational environment where every student can flourish.  Together, we will build a bright future for our school community.

Brooke DyettIt is my esteemed honor to serve as your new middle school assistant principal here at Lealman Innovation Academy.  I’ve had the privilege to serve the Neon Jaguar Family for the last 5 years as a behavior specialist.  As we continue our path towards 100% scholar success, I reassert my professional commitment to forging forward by way of this new capacity.  My devotion to Pinellas County Schools spans 20 years.  My vigor is evident across contributions that include instructional, department head, and leadership team roles.

I am a Florida native and a Pinellas County Schools graduate.  My post-high school achievements include a bachelor’s in education and master’s level degrees in business as well as administration.  High expectations, accountability, building strong relationships, and pushing each scholar to maximize his/her personal greatness are the pillars of my educational philosophy.  It is my intention to give my best daily and to mirror our “ROARing” core values.

I thank you in advance for the wonderful work that we will do together to ensure that scholars are not just successful here at Lealman Innovation but flourish beyond our institution as empowered, self-aware and goal-oriented young people.
