I am the proud Principal of Lealman Innovation Academy. I am a graduate of the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!), Saint Leo University, and St. Petersburg College. My key educational philosophy is to ensure that all learners have every opportunity for academic, career, and personal success including voice and choice in how they learn. Lealman Innovation Academy (LIA) is leading the way as an innovative school that is a place where all learners can be successful.
Over the past 3 years we have undergone significant changes, reinvented ourselves, and emerged as a model school in Pinellas County Schools for personalized & project-based learning. LIA has a progressive innovative faculty, facility, and we are committed to creating a safe, supportive learning environment for all learners.
It is my distinct pleasure and honor to serve as Principal of Lealman Innovation Academy and to work with every parent, learner, and faculty member as we strive for 100% learner success. I am looking forward to the promise that this school year holds and know that together there is nothing we cannot overcome and nothing we cannot accomplish!
Hello everyone. I’m happy to be here and will be taking on the 5-8th grade as their Assistant Principal. I believe that all children can learn and be successful. I am a servant leader. I will roll up my sleeves with you to “get err done.”
I am a graduate of TL Hanna High School, the school in the movie Radio. I went on to The Florida State University, where I got a Bachelor of Science in Science Education with an emphasis in Chemistry. I continued my educational path and received my master’s degree from Nova Southeastern in Educational Leadership. I have taught earth science and chemistry at Seminole High School, been an Assistant principal there as well and come to you from Largo High School.
Education is a springboard to better things. We are here to do the work because we are on the mission. The mission is graduation. Don’t forget the mission.
I am proud to be the Assistant Principal of 10th – 12th grades at Lealman Innovative Academy. My teaching career began in Pinellas County Schools in 2001. I have served as a Curriculum Specialist at Azalea MiddleSchool,
Teacher on Special Assignment at Azalea Middle School, and as a Classroom Teacher at Pinellas Virtual (K-12) and Tyrone Middle School. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida A & M University and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University.
My educational philosophy has always been to educate and lead with three things in mind: Simplicity, Patience, and Compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.
