    Mrs. Garcia, Principal I am the proud Principal of Lealman Innovation Academy. I am a graduate of the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!), Saint Leo University, and St.  Petersburg College. My key educational philosophy is to ensure that all learners have every opportunity for academic, career, and personal success including voice and choice in how they learn.  Lealman Innovation Academy (LIA) is leading the way as an innovative school that is a place where all learners can be successful.

    Over the past 3 years we have undergone significant changes, reinvented ourselves, and emerged as a model school in Pinellas County Schools for personalized & project-based learning. LIA has a progressive innovative faculty, facility, and we are committed to creating a safe, supportive learning environment for all learners.

    It is my distinct pleasure and honor to serve as Principal of Lealman Innovation Academy and to work with every parent, learner, and faculty member as we strive for 100% learner success. I am looking forward to the promise that this school year holds and know that together there is nothing we cannot overcome and nothing we cannot accomplish!

    Michelle DuGranrut

    Michelle DuGranrut I am an Assistant Principal for 5th & 8th grades at Lealman Innovation Academy (LIA). I earned my undergraduate degree from Miami University (Ohio) and completed graduate school at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg.

    Building learners today and shaping the future leaders of tomorrow is a passion I endeavor to achieve daily as an Assistant Principal of LIA.  It is my ultimate goal to propel students forward gaining the preparedness for college, career and life with the opportunity for all to achieve greatness.  Lealman strives to empower learners to take ownership of their education with our unique project-based learning and personalized learning foundations. 

    LIA is a place where teachers, leaders, faculty, and administration work together to instill the propensity in students to be lifelong learners and achievers and a place where collaboration exceeds isolation.

    I am honored to be a Jaguar and look forward to a constructive, dynamic and enriching school year.

    Konrad McCree, Jr

    I am excited to join the administrative team of Lealman Innovation Academy (LIA) as the Assistant Principal for 9th - 12th grades!

    I completed undergraduate studies at St. Petersburg College and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, graduate studies at the American College of Education, and currently completing doctoral studies in Educational Leadership. I love learning!  I most recently served as a Social Studies teacher at Tyrone Middle School and worked at Tarpon Springs and Largo High Schools. 

    Education is an important collaborative affair that requires partnership between school, home, and the community. I believe that every student can and will learn when given equitable resources and opportunities. Impacting learning is a passion of mine, and I look forward to working with every teacher, parent, & community partner to ensure 100% success for every student-scholar at LIA.

    Lealman Innovation Academy will be instrumental in changing the way student-scholars learn, and I am excited to be a part of the change!
