Dr. Ray Dudley
Principal
My name is Dr. Ray Dudley, and I am your proud principal at Maximo Elementary School. I joined Pinellas County Schools in the Spring of 2023 and have thoroughly enjoyed my transition to this amazing county. All of my previous years of education resided in Hillsborough County Public Schools. I have served as an educator for over 17 years, and during my career, I have worked as a teacher, school administrator on all grade levels, and college professor. Through education, I aim to positively impact as many lives as possible. My bachelor's degree is in history, and my first master's is in social science education from the University of South Florida. I earned my second master's degree in educational leadership from Saint Leo University. I attained my doctorate from the University of the Cumberlands, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction.
On a personal note, I am happily married to an educator and have two amazing kids! I love spending time with family and coaching my son's little league baseball team. My goal is to prepare our students for middle school and inspire them that through consistency and dedication, you can accomplish your goals. I am so appreciative of the opportunity to be the Principal of Maximo Elementary, and I look forward to cultivating positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Assistant Principal
I am so excited to join Maximo as your new Assistant Principal. Prior to coming to Maximo, I worked as an Instructional Staff Developer for the Transformation Zone. Before that, I was a reading coach in Pinellas County and Texas, and preceding that I was a classroom teacher in multiple different states. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Kansas and my bachelor's degree from the University of Tampa. In my spare time, I like to spend time at the beach, fishing, or on the boat with my family, partner Matt, and daughter Bella.
