ADULT HIGH SCHOOL

The Adult High School provides a way for students to complete the needed requirements for their high school diploma. The State of Florida requires a student to complete either 18 or 24 credits to earn a diploma. The Adult High School offers students an opportunity to earn credits at their own pace with a flexible schedule. To earn a high school diploma, students must meet the graduation requirements, maintain a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and must pass required state exams. Clearwater Adult Education Center is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to issue standard high school diplomas.There is a $45.00 per term tuition fee. There are two terms in a calendar year.Term 1: June - DecemberTerm 2: January - MayStudents may enter at any time.Students must meet the same academic requirements as traditional daytime high school students, including:
- 2.0 GPA
- Must pass the State of Florida required testing
- Meet content requirements and elective requirements
