    Ms. Lisa Freeman, Principal

    Hello Ozona Families,

    I am thrilled to be the new principal at Ozona Elementary School. I am looking forward to an outstanding year getting to know the students and families of this wonderful community. As you know the mission of Ozona Elementary is: The staff of Ozona Elementary will work collaboratively with families to promote highest student achievement and to foster at least a year's worth of academic growth for every child. The mission is one that is dedicated to the belief that everyone can achieve to his or her optimum potential. Mrs. Downes, Assistant Principal, and I will work side by side with teachers to align content and instruction to the appropriate levels of rigor called for by the Florida State Standards. We know the teachers are excited to begin the 2018-2019 school year and so are we! 

    About Ms. Lisa Freeman:

    My experinces include Title I, Achievement Specilaist, Assistant Principal and Principal. I have twelve years of administrative leadership in Pinellas County Schools. I am an Equity in Excellence Champion and am completing my Gifted micro-credentialing. My strong curriculum background will ensure we meet the learning needs of your children. 

    Please know that Mrs. Downes and I are commited to working together with each family to make even greater strides in the up-coming school year. I look forward to meeting you and building positive relationships with you this school year.

    Mrs. Jessica Downes, Assistant Principal

    I have been in education about 10 years now. Pinellas County Schools has been my home for the past 6 years. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. I obtained my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! I have grown up in Palm Harbor and have been active in the community all my life. I look forward to meeting with you and working with all of our Ozona families!
