Message from Principal Porter
Dear Orange Grove Families,
It is with much excitement that we welcome everyone back to the 2020-21 school year. We recognize that these have been extraordinary times. Whether or not COVID 19 has touched us personally, our way of life has been altered in ways big and small. I continue to recognize the beautiful, random acts of kindness shared by our staff, students, families, and community. My heart is overflowing with gratitude.
As we begin the 20-21 school year, we will continue to practice forgiveness, empathy, compassion, flexibility and kindness. We are anxious to meet our new kindergarten families and look forward to continuing the relationships with our returning families. Our top priorities at Orange Grove continue to be safety and 100% student success. We continue to expect learning gains from every student. This will take each and every one of us working together to keep our students safe, healthy, and thriving!
Feel free to stop by or call me anytime. My personal cell is 727-455-7891. Your input is truly valued. Read a great book with your child and have a great Orange Grove Day!
From the heart,
Christine Porter, Ed.D, Principal
