July 8, 2024 Callout - 6th Grade Fundamental Bootcamp
Good day Jaguar Families,
Thurgood Marshall Fundamental Middle School will be hosting a 6th Grade Fundamental Student Bootcamp on August 1st from 8:45 to 12:00. This is different from the Center for Studies Bootcamp on July 31st, but students are able to attend both if you so choose. The Fundamental 6th Grade Bootcamp will have multiple rotations to help acclimate your student to the school, the fundamental guidelines, technology usage, leadership opportunities, AVID School-Wide, and the Jaguar Mindset.
Students will begin the day in the cafeteria where they will meet the Administration, some 6th Grade Teachers, and potentially the student advisors for school leadership. At 9:00, students will break out into rotational groups where they will tour the school, move between classes, and practice some of the basic structures and processes of a school day.
