Deborah Yeasted, 6th Grade School Counselor
Welcome Morgan Fitzgerald students and families. My name is Debbie Yeasted and I will be serving as your new 8th grade school counselor. I moved to Pinellas County this summer after a 27 year career with Orange County Public Schools. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan! You can catch me watching Penn State football, Penguins hockey and cheering for the Tampa Bay Bucs! I love the ocean, kayaking, hiking, swimming, walking my dog and spending time with family.
The majority of my counseling career has been dedicated to middle school students. Please know my heart has always been with this age group, helping you navigate through challenges, building your confidence and preparing you for high school. I will be your biggest supporter and always here to listen.
I am anxious to get to know all of my new families this year.
If I can be of any assistance to you, please feel free to email me at: yeastedd@pcsb.org
Sarah McDonald, 7th Grade School Counselor
Greetings, phenomenal Phantom family! I am beyond thrilled to be on the Fitzgerald team this year, and I am eager to get to know our seventh graders! I grew up just outside of Tallahassee and lived in the same small town until I moved to go to college. I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) in 2011, and I earned my Masters in Counselor Education – School Counseling from the University of South Florida in 2015. I am entering my eighth year as a school counselor in Pinellas County. I am passionate about advocating for all students, families, and stakeholders; and supporting students so they can reach their highest potential. Outside of work, you can find me cheering on the Bucs, Lightning, Rays, and LSU Tigers; going to concerts; or hanging out at home with my husband.
If I can be of any assistance to you and/or your student(s), please feel free to email me at mcdonaldsar@pcsb.org.
