Gulf Beaches Elementary Magnet School

We have many ensembles for students in grades 3 - 5  to join. iPad Ensemble, Bells Ensemble, Orff Ensemble, and World Drumming Ensemble are open at the beginning of each semester for students to join. Chorus is only for 4th and 5th graders. Each ensemble performs a variety of musical genres and learns many techniques for being a performer as well as a member of a bonded community.

We have grade level performances regularly and perform both inside and outside of class. We cover a variety of topics from form to good audience behaviors throughout music class to not only become better musicians but to learn how to appreciate music.

If you are interested in private lessons on an instrument, please contact me for a suggestion of a private instructor in your area. While I do not suggest starting voice lessons until in your teens, instruments can be learned at any age.
