• All scholars who attend Disston Academy must attend orientation prior to his or her first day of class during each school year. This includes both new and returning scholars.  Traditionally, orientation is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and provided by our counseling team.  If there is a conflict regarding the orientation schedule, please contact us at (727)893-1115 Ext. 2000.

    Orientation for the 2024-25 school year will be held at our Transition to Success Summer Slam on August 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM respectively.  This event will meet the annual orientation requirements for all new and returning scholars.  We will cover critical information including changes to our policies in the PCS Student Code of Conduct regarding the check-in procedures, dress code, electronic devices, as well as schedule distribution, grading and graduation. We will also present new programming including the Phoenix PHIRE Academy, new industry certification courses, partnerships with the city of St. Petersburg and PAL and more.  The link for registration is provided below.
