About:
Southern Oak Elementary is a neighborhood school which also receives Title-1 funding that provide us with additional resources for instruction. We have approximately 550 students enrolled, Pre-K through 5th grades. At Southern Oak, we provide students with support in all academic areas to meet the rigorous demands of Florida’s new B.E.S.T.
standards. We have 1 to 1 computer access in all classrooms from 1st to 5th grades, affording our students with ample opportunities to strengthen their academic skills on a variety of online academic platforms. Our caring and dedicated staff tailor instruction to meet each students’ needs, support collaborative learning, and strive to help students grow to their greatest potential.Points of Pride
