PrincipalMeet Ms. Anderson – Assistant Principal
Ms. Jacqueline Anderson is a proud graduate of Boca Ciega High School, and it brings her true joy to now serve as an Assistant Principal in the very community that poured into her. She considers it an honor to give back to the place where her educational journey began and where her purpose was shaped.
After earning her undergraduate degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida (USF), Ms. Anderson felt called to education. What started as a temporary step soon became a lifelong mission. She spent five years in the classroom as a mathematics teacher, where she discovered her true passion, helping scholars see their own potential and guiding them to achieve it. That desire to make a deeper impact led her back to USF, where she earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Anderson believes that opportunity is the key that unlocks access, and access can change the entire trajectory of a scholar’s life. She speaks from experience. Her 10th grade AVID teacher, Mrs. Reeves, changed her life by simply offering her a chance to explore more. It’s that same spirit Ms. Anderson brings into leadership each day, ensuring that every scholar she serves is seen, supported, and given opportunities to grow and thrive.
Whether it’s greeting students with a smile, collaborating with teachers, or walking alongside families, Ms. Anderson leads with heart, high expectations, and relentless commitment to scholar success in all that she does.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, making memories with family and friends, serving in her local church, and finding ways to uplift her community.
