Mrs. Teresa Price

Entering into year three, I finally feel at home.  TSFES is truly a special place. We will continue to foster a mind of inquire and curiosity this year by adding onto “Notice and Wonder” with “Because, But, So”. Students will use these lead off words to answer questions more deeply. Try it out with this question, “My favorite subject at school is………."

For those who are new this year, here is a little bit about me.  I am a proud product of Pinellas County Schools, having attended Dunedin Elementary, Middle and High Schools. I received my undergraduate degree at University of Central Florida and my master’s degree at the University of Phoenix.  I have been married for 28 years to my best friend from Dunedin Middle School.

As an educator with 29 years of experience in various education roles, I have had the privilege of working with diverse student populations, collaborating with dedicated teachers, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. My educational philosophy is centered around creating a student-centered culture where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary School, we continue to uphold the long-standing traditions of excellence, while also embracing innovation and forward-thinking educational practices. Our focus is on cultivating critical thinking skills, promoting creativity, and nurturing a love for learning in all students. I firmly believe that education should not only prepare students for their future academic and professional endeavors but also empower them to become compassionate and responsible citizens.

Open lines of communication are vital for a successful partnership between school and home. I encourage parents and guardians to actively engage in their child's education, attend school events, and collaborate with our dedicated teachers and staff. Together, we will ensure that every student receives the support and resources they need to thrive.

I am excited to enter year two as Principal of Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary School. Together, we will continue to build upon the school's remarkable legacy and create new opportunities for growth and success. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of our new families, become closer to our current families and I am confident that with our collective efforts, we will inspire greatness in our students.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. My door is always open, and I welcome your valuable input.

Thank you for choosing TSFES, and I eagerly anticipate the upcoming school year. Let us embark on this exciting journey together!

Best,

Teresa Price
