B.S. degree in Elementary Education Masters degree in Educational Leadership
Ms. Vickie Graham
It is with honor and excitement that I introduce myself as the principal of Ridgecrest Elementary and Center for Gifted Studies. I look forward to continuing the rich tradition of education at the highest level at Ridgecrest, while realizing the districts vision of 100% student success! I believe that all of us – the school, parents and the community – must work together to create a greater likelihood of this success.
A product of and educator in Pinellas County schools for 24 years, I have worked as a teacher, Title I facilitator, instructional coach and assistant principal. These roles have provided me with unique experiences that have shaped me as a leader. My educational background includes a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from my beloved Florida A & M University (Go Rattlers!) and a Masters degree from Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership. When I am not learning or leading at school, I enjoy traveling, shopping and making memories with family. I also am the mom of a four-legged fur baby named Noah and aunt to Elizabeth Grace.
I look forward to a great year ahead. My goal is to work collaboratively with the highly qualified instructors of Ridgecrest to ensure that all students are provided a challenging, rigorous, relevant and standards-based education in a positive and safe learning environment. We will accomplish this by partnering with families, aligning resources and setting high academic and behavioral expectations.
I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children. My door is always open and I welcome your ideas and input. Please feel free to call, email or set an appointment with me to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.
