Welcome to San Jose Elementary!
Dear San Jose Elementary Families,
It is with great enthusiasm that I join the San Jose Elementary community as your new principal. I am eager to embark on this journey alongside all of you and to support our students as they soar to excellence as Hawks.
While I am new to San Jose Elementary, my roots in Pinellas County run deep. I was born and raised here, and I am a proud product of Pinellas County public schools, having attended from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of serving in various roles within several Pinellas schools, including classroom teacher, Math Instructional Staff Developer, Assistant Principal, and now Principal.
My educational journey includes graduating from both the University of Central Florida and the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg. These experiences have shaped my dedication to fostering a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Ms. Wignall and I are committed to working collaboratively with families to ensure that each child's educational experience is both positive and meaningful. Building strong, positive relationships with you is a priority for me as we work together to create a nurturing and successful school year.
I am excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to meeting each of you. Together, let's make this school year one of growth, achievement, and joy for our students.
Warm regards,
Kathryn Gualtieri
