How to Apply
Throughout the year, students can apply to our school year round. School counselors or administrators may refer student to us for credit recovery services. Families can also inquire by calling or coming to the school to fill out an application. You may also fill out our application online below. Please allow up to 72 hours after you've completed the application for our staff to contact you. If you have any questions please call the school.
Students who live in the following attendance zones may qualify for school district bus transportation; Clearwater, Seminole, Pinellas Park, or Largo. If students are having issues with their bus, please call 727-587-2020
For students who do not qualify for district bussing are eligible to receive a PSTA bus pass. Students who live beyond a two mile radius from the school are also eligible for a bus pass.
Students at Pinellas Gulf Coast Academy are expected to be in school uniform when on campus. Students may wear pants, shorts, or skirts in solid black, navy, jean, or khaki colors; short or long sleeve polo shirt with collar in solid colors; sweater, hoodless sweatshirt, outdoor jacket in solid colors; and closed toe shoes or sneakers.
Hoodies, sweatshirts, Flip-flops, slides, shoes without heel straps, slippers, jackets, scarves, gloves, and hats are not permitted.
Pinellas Gulf Coast Academy is an accredited Mid County educational option for students who wish to catch up or accelerate their academic requirements for graduation. Our blended instructional model consists of both online and teacher directed instruction. Coursework is mastery based which gives students an opportunity to complete credits at an individualized and often accelerated pace.
