    i-ready

The YMCA has partnered with Pinellas County School to support Promise Time, a new after school tutoring program for 2014-2015. Promise Time Extended Learning provides a structured, safe, and enriching academic program for students to promote acceleration, achievement, and academic performance. Tutoring and enrichment programs are led by certified Pinellas County teachers. Promise Time uses a web-based computer program called i-Ready which is designed to meet the needs of each individual student.  Students who participate in Promise Time have access to i-Ready assessments and on-line curriculum for Reading and Math.  Students have time each week to work on computers to complete i-Ready lessons, to participate in small group tutoring, and to participate in a variety of enrichment activities.

    Because Kids Deserve Better

Two days is too long. No child should go hungry over the weekend.

Thousands of children go hungry in our community,

many of these kids are fed by the Pinellas County School Breakfast and Lunch Programs.

So what happens on the weekends when school isn't in session?

    Kids go hungry,

and that's why Pack-A-Sack was created

    through the

    St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
