The Student Council is a very important leadership opportunity and a responsibility for students at Starkey Elementary School.

 

One classroom representative in grades kindergarten through 4th grade and two classroom representatives in 5th grade.

 

Student Council Reps. meet once a month on Friday afternoon.

 

Student Council Reps. help with the schoolwide 5th grade Elections.

 

Annual Can Food partnership with the Salvation Army before Thanksgiving.

 

An annual toy and clothing drive for the Salliee House in December.

 

Student Council Reps. help with the Jog-a-Thon in February.

 

Student Council Reps. walk in the Pow Wow Parade in March.

 

Student Council Reps. participate in Student Government Day in May, shadowing staff members.
